STIEBEL ELTRON HYDRONIC HEAT PUMP — Heating & Cooling

The WPL-A Premium air source heat pump is not only suitable for heating and hot water but also provides cooling in the summer months. Since the inverter unit achieves high flow temperatures even at very low outside temperatures of down to –25 °C, it is equally suitable for use in new build and renovation projects. The WPL-A HK Premium contains a future-proof refrigerant. In combination with its high efficiency, the heat pump scores highly as an environmentally responsible heating technology.
Quick overview
- Air source heat pump for heating, hot water and cooling
- Inverter technology provides adjusted heating output
- High flow temperatures of up to 75 °C enable high DHW temperatures and mixed water volumes
- Low operating costs through high efficiency all year round
- Smart Grid ready for connection to solar PV and energy management systems
How does a hydronic heat pump work to heat my home?
Air source heat pumps use a refrigeration circuit to harvest energy from the air. This energy is then used to heat the water which is pumped through a hydronic heating circuit, such as in-slab piping or radiators, to warm your home.

How noisy is a hydronic heat pump?
Hydronic heat pumps from STIEBEL ELTRON are the quietest on the market thanks to an encapsulated refrigerant circuit and acoustically isolated compressor. Advanced sound engineering guarantees that heat pumps from STIEBEL ELTRON can be used in neighbourhoods with a dense population. Many models even feature an additional silent mode.
Can a hydronic heat pump system still heat my home when it is cold outside?
